The GRA Accelerated Leadership Programme (ALP) is a modular leadership programme designed to provide middle managers with the tools to become more dynamic and successful leaders.
The programme blends proven leadership models with opportunities to apply the learning in a practical setting at our corporate training centre. Delegates will gain a greater understanding of how the behaviour of a leader impacts the performance of individuals, teams and organisations and have the skills and confidence to effectively implement change. Following participation on the programme, delegates will be more effective in driving improvements in your organisation’s performance and executing the organisation’s strategic vision.
Who should attend GRA's Accelerated Leadership Programme?
The programme is designed for organisations who wish to accelerate the development of their middle managers in a risk-free, structured training environment. To maximise the impact that the training can have once the employee is back in the workplace, each delegate receives personalised feedback and action plans from the GRA Course Director to advance their abilities and sustain their development. In addition, delegates will nominate a colleague sponsor to discuss progress and assist with embedding the learning back in the workplace. Our ALP programme provides delegates with the perfect platform to learn more about themselves, their interactions with their peers and enhance their leadership capabilities.
Module 1 - Self and Team Awareness
This module will ensure that leaders ‘look in the mirror’ to improve their self-awareness as a leader, and understand and reflect on the impact it has on team performance, their personality, and leadership style.
Module 2 - Leadership Skills in Practice
This is an experiential programme involving a significant planning phase culminating in a ‘business scenario’ played out in the outdoors. This powerful learning experience enables each participant to lead an equal part of the scenario, developing their problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Module 3 - Situational Leadership II® in Action
The final module will equip delegates with the skills to develop and coach others effectively. It encourages them to analyse and review their own leadership style, and to flex this style depending on the person and the situation. On the third day, delegates will have the opportunity to practice these skills using our high ropes course and archery range. You will receive a certificate recognising completion of an accredited Situational Leadership II® programme.
